Jo Sonja’ s Gesso is a flexible acrylic ground designed to prepare surfaces before painting with acrylic or oil colours. Using gesso helps prevent paint from losing moisture through absorption and it creates a slightly textured surface (« tooth» ) to promote better paint adhesion.

Key Features:

· Suitable for canvas, wood, and plywood

· Ready to use straight from the tub — apply to a clean, dry surface with a brush or paint roller

· Allow each coat to dry fully before applying the next

· Can be lightly sanded between coats for a smoother finish
